99 Mary Street
This Event is self funded and had a budget of £3000. The main target audience that the Event was aimed at is people that are active on social media and media proffesionals aged 25 - 60. At the Event there was free food and drink served, it was a work and social environment, invite only. Music was played at the Event, to make it seem to have a more social and relaxing environment. The music style played was alternative 80s and 90s. The staff at the Event was wearing a branded T-shirt. It was also all based on one floor, easy access for the disabled. The organisers of the Event had to apply for temporary licence to serve alcohol in the Event, this licence needs to be applied for 10 days before the Event. To assure health and safety through out the Event all cables and wire etc, was out of the way and could not cause any harm to the people enjoying the Event. Most of the staff at the Event was past A-level students. The purpose of this Event is educational/entertaining. I think that this Exhibition is interesting because it comes from a entertaining theme and may be for education.
DocFest
The purpose of this event is entertainment, It is a film festival. The main target audience for this Event is film and documentary professionals. The music style of the Event was retro 70s and 80s disco music. The Event was based in a roller skating arena.
The Hepworth Gallery
the purpose of this Exhibition is to show everyone the work of Barbara Hepworth and it can also been seen for an educational purpose. The content of The Exhibition is all examples of Barbara Hepworth's work, from paintings to sculptures and others. The target audience for this Event is probably and older audience that is interested in art because the pieces in the Exhibition have certain meanings behind it that random people that aren't interested in art might not understand. The Location of this Exhibition is in wakefield and the exhibition takes up the whole building. The suitability for this Exhibition works well in comparison of the target audience to the work in the gallery. Again I think that the pieces in the exhibition have a certain meaning and the pieces are suitable for the people observing them. there is no legal or ethical issues with the pieces in the exhibition and i think that the work can be viewed by anyone. My personal response to this Exhibit is that i think it was interesting and my favourite bit to it was the painting on display. This is because of the amount of colours used in the paints.
